On May 18, 2016, Diwata-1 HPT captured a true-color image of a mountainous region in Kamo District, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Situated 50 km northeast of Nagoya, Kamo District accommodates an approximately 52,536 inhabitants in its 615.17 sq. km land area.
In this image scene, mountain ridges, road networks, small villages, as well as electrical transmission lines are all evident through HPT’s 3-meter spatial resolution.
